I know my cat is eating well with Royal Canin and as he is over 11 I am assured that he is now getting the right nutrients for his age. It helps that he absolutely loves the food too.

They don't have that yucky strong smell that so many cat food pouches seem to have which is good and the pieces are easy to eat for elderly cats who may have chewing difficulties. These pouches are filled with lots of vitamins, minerals and essential proteins needed for aging cats to help maintain good health as they get older. My cat seems healthier overall since starting this food especially in terms of digestive health and coat health.

I like that it is specifically made for cats ages 11+ and has a lot of nutrients to help them as they get older, compared to an ordinary adult formula. The only downside for me is that is it’s a bit more expensive than other brands and the ingredients also include cereals and vegetable proteins so it may not be the first choice if you are looking for very high meat content or grain free recipe. Overall I think it’s a great product and would recommend if you can afford a bit more to spend just due to added health benefits vs standard cat food.

I like the texture and consistency of the pieces in the gravy, they’re soft and easy for her to eat. She seemed to digest it well and I haven’t noticed any issues with her tummy. The pouches are convenient and make feeding and cleaning up afterwards easy. I also like that it’s designed with older cats health and nutritional needs in mind. Most importantly she clearly enjoys it and eats it consistently, which is alway a bonus with fussy cats .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boy just turned 12 so I need to keep an eye on his diet to make his life healthy, happy and as long as possible. These pouches seem like a good choice for his age and needs with its balanced nutritional values and lowered phosphorus levels. The packaging is convenient, the portion size is perfect for him. It doesn't smell bad at all and the litter box isn't stinky either. He's usually picky with jelly pouches (prefers broth) but he always clears his plate when I serve this. I haven't noticed a big change on his fur, overall appearance or activity levels. I only gave it 4 stars because it still looks a bit overprocessed and the ingredients list isn't very clear about the exact amount and source of animal proteins.

The portion size was perfect and she didn’t waste any. It was the perfect amount of meat and jelly. She loved it and I’ll definitely be buying it for her from now on.
