Royal Canin Calm is specifically formulated to help support cats during periods of adaptation. This formula contains hydrolysed milk protein and L-tryptophan to help relieve and manage stress-related behaviour in cats. This formula also helps to control the formation of hairballs by helping to eliminate ingested hair through your cat's stools. To support optimal skin health, Royal Canin Calm is formulated to support the skin's natural protective barrier role.

This diet is formulated to promote a healthy urinary environment. Please consult with your veterinarian to determine the best diet for your pet. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7-10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

Features

  • CALMING SUPPORT - Contains hydrolysed milk protein and L-tryptophan to help manage cats prone to behaviour changes in unusual environments and situations.
  • HAIRBALL COMPLEX - A specific blend of fibres, including psyllium, helps control hairball formation by eliminating ingested hair through the stools.

Recommended for

Helps cats to manage stressful situations and maintain their emotional balance.

Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the need of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.

  • Love and recommend this product

    Yes, I recommend this product

I have been using this product for a couple of years (two to three) now and my cats are great! they were very skittish and feral at the beginning and they were always very "stressy" (I have had cats all my life, never had anything like these ones). This food had made a huge difference and they are completely chill now and very affectionate. I do keep the Feliway diffuser as well at all times, but my cats love they bikkies and will prefer eating that over anything else. I feed them, one boy and one girl, half a tin of applaws tuna, which is the ONLY wet food they would eat consistently (I have tried everything else unsuccessfully). Poo is good, skin looks good; my big boy looks solid not fat. No hairball problems. My girl used to have urinary stress related issues and had to revert to specialised food - all of that gone since they are on this food. They grew up in Hill's Science kitten and she needed the urinary stress care C/D wet food to recover. I have not have to do that in the last nearly two years. My cats are completely indoors.

Recommended by my daughter who is a vet nurse at the SPCA. Our cat Alfie eats this and Mature Consult as his base diet. He has been on this diet for well over 5 years

This product was recommended by the cat rescue centre and helped the new cat settle and when our missing cat came home we carried on using it to help them both settle. Really good product and cats seemed to love it.

I bought this about 5 weeks ago due to our feral cat absolutely losing the plot after a stray kitten turned up. She was always very people spooked however this kitten being in the house has turned her into something quite nasty. She will rush and attack people and pace the house if she's not allowed out at the very second she wants to. We've had her with the Feliway defusers in the house that have helped, however it was starting her on the Calm that's helped further. She isn't 100%, but she's probably close to a solid 75% to how she was prior. She does seem to be getting better each day. Shes usually a very fussy cat too. Very suspicious of what you feed her so wasn't even sure she'd eat them. But she loves them.
