A collar should fit comfortably but make sure you can pass two fingers between collar and neck. Check carefully under the collar for redness or hair loss caused by and ill-fitting collar. Remember that puppies grow fast and their collars will need adjusting regularly and eventually replacing. Measure your dog at the widest part of their neck. Example breeds are intended as a guide only as the size of your dog may differ.
