This does a reasonable job as a shampoo, washing away fleas and tics, and acts as a limited repellent for feas and tics. Unfortunately I needed something that would actually kill them, which this does not. The fleas returned within 3-4 days, for a repellent I needed something that lasts longer. As a temporary solution, its fine - marginally better than a regular dog shampoo as it is a repellent, though the tea tree oil smells like eucalyptus and neem oil like garlic+peanut butter so I think our regular shampoo smells better.

Used on my dog for the first time. Within a couple of hours, she was very distressed, scratching like mad. She has been like it through whole night so shall be rebathing her this morning to wash any traces off her skin.

If your dog has fleas, go to a vet for an actual flea treatment. This may help sooth their skin for a day but doesn't actually help remove any fleas. I would only recommend this as something to possibly help sooth irritated skin temporarily.
