Care & behaviour: Cavalier Kind Charles Spaniels require an effective care routine along with good food nutrition to help manage their skin and coat condition, body size and general wellbeing.

Grooming: Brush weekly to encourage natural oil release and remove any excess hair.

General health & teeth: Check eyes regularly to ensure they are clear, clean, and healthy looking. Check for signs of weight gain by weighing regularly as this can occur quickly in small breeds. Regularly check dental hygiene (training to accept teeth brushing as a puppy will help maintain oral health).

Exercise & play: Typically 30+ minutes exercise per day (playing games during exercise helps keep them mentally stimulated). Cavalier King Charles Spaniels can be overly sociable with both humans and other dogs (good obedience training will be more successful when started early and made fun).
