Care & behaviour: Cockapoos require an effective care routine along with good food nutrition to help manage their skin and coat condition, body size and general wellbeing. Grooming: Brush daily to encourage natural oil release and remove any excess hair (trimming is needed occasionally to maintain coat length and uncover eyes). General health & teeth: Regularly check eyes to ensure they are clear, clean, and healthy looking. Check for signs of weight gain by weighing regularly (split daily food amounts across two regular meal times and allow for any treats within this daily amount). Regularly check dental hygiene (training to accept teeth brushing as a puppy will help maintain oral health). Exercise & play: Typically 30 minutes high energy exercise per day (playing games during exercise helps keep them mentally stimulated). Cockapoos can be easily trained and respond well to early socialisation with humans and other dogs (training will be successful with mental challenges, positive reinforcement and lots of fun!).
