If you are new to AVA pate or are transitioning from one life-stage to the next, it is advisable to introduce their food slowly over 4-7 days. They also recommend feeding AVA pate in 2 equal portioned meals and at regular times each day. This will help balance the nutritional benefit of their AVA formulations throughout the day, before and after most active times.

        I have been feeding mostly this food to my dog for a little while now and he seems to have adjusted well to the mature food. The only slight negative is the lamb version always seems to contain less meat. There’s often a slight gap when you take the lid off and there’s a lot of gravy at the bottom of the can taking up space!
