Burgess Excel Veg Patch Bites can be hand fed. Feed in moderation, one piece per day. Follow the Excel feeding plan for healthy, happy rabbits and guinea pigs. The Burgess vet recommended Excel feeding plan has been developed to help your small animals thrive.
Feeding Hay and fresh grass is the most important part of your small animals' diet and should be 85-90% of their daily food intake. A small amount of high fibre Excel Nuggets supplements your small animals’ diet with vitamins and minerals and prevents selective feeding. Excel Nature Snacks are made with natural ingredients and in small amounts can be useful for encouraging bonding and natural foraging behaviour. A small handful of suitable Fresh Greens and herbs adds some variety into your small animals’ diet. Fresh Water should always be available.
