Encourage your cat to drink more. Drinking regularly is important for your cat's health as it helps ensure proper kidney function and prevents crystal formation that can lead to urinary tract disease. Unlike bowls, the Catit Flower Fountain pushes only filtered, running water to the surface. This prevents your cat from having access to dirty water. The BPA-Free plastic reservoir has a 3L capacity and includes 1 x Catit Triple Action Filter (replacement filters sold separately). Since cats are picky drinkers, Catit developed the fountain to feature 3 different settings: a gentle water flow, a bubbling top, or calm streams. The handy water level indicator window with LED nightlight lights up through the night for your cat. The Catit Triple Action Filter removes the magnesium and calcium from the water. These minerals can accumulate in your pet's lower urinary tract and lead to urinary diseases, which is a common health issue for cats. Active carbon in the filter removes odours and impurities and retains stray hairs, sediment and debris. Please note: This product can help to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections and diseases but it is not designed to cure any disease or illness.

Catit provide practical, easy to use, and convenient products that specifically meet the needs of fussy felines. Catit develop products that satisfy a feline's exacting needs, whether it's for housing, transportation, scratchers, dishware, toys and treats!

How to use:

Make sure that the surface underneath your cat fountain is sturdy and completely level. Place your fountain on the floor, not on a table or a countertop. Change the water every 24 hours to provide fresh water for your cat. Replace the filter every 30 days, or change the filter if it becomes visibly saturated.

Product Care

All components can be washed with warm water, using a soft sponge and dishwashing soap. Never use aggressive detergents or an abrasive sponge. Please clean the top parts of the Catit Fountain regularly to prevent scale from settling on the fountain. The pump should be removed from the fountain and disassembled for cleaning on a biweekly basis. Rinse each part separately with water before reassembling.

  • Not really hygenic

Not as hygienic as seems. Moving plastic parts attached to metal cannot be removed and are loose enough to collect dirt and bacteria underneath. The plastic parts spin but don’t provide access to really get clean. To see what gunk is hiding hold the metal collar upside down under warm higher pressure water on the plastic then turn over and look around the opening to see how much junk comes out. It’s disgusting. I’m going back to the all plastic one. FYI I clean the fountain daily with warm soapy water.

This fountain is FANTASTIC! I love the stainless steel as it is so easy to clean and super sanitary, please don't stop making this! My siberians will not drink from anything else PLUS my cats can't meddle with it! The mini one I also bought they could basically take apart. Get this fountain if you are undecided!

This fountain is a pretty cool idea. My cat loves it, and the running water is a pleasant background noise. It runs well as long as you take care of it and looks good. I like that it gives a natural little waterfall effect for my cat to drink from. What a wonderful, thoughtful little idea. The frustrating part is in the design, particularly when you go to clean it. Once every 30 days I give it a thorough clean with soap and pipecleaners and change the filter as directed. Once a week I rinse it and change the water. The frustrating bit is in the motor. In order to really clean it, three pieces need to come off/out, and they are really tricky. The first panel/plastic grate I can sometimes only remove with a bread knife if my fingernails are too soft from cleaning the rest of it already. It also has a mysterious moving part not mentioned in the instructions or any of the videos I looked up, which slides over the water intake for some reason, ostensibly to restrict water flow, though I don't know why you would want this and it's never explained. I leave it open because I assume that's the thing to do but if I had any less practical knowledge I might have closed it and I don't know. . . assumed the fountain was broken or something when the flow went way down. The next piece is even trickier; it is a round bit that covers the little motor and definitely requires a tool to remove. It is obstinate and goes flying once I remove it, often with a little bloodshed (my thumb is bleeding as I write this), and one time a piece of the plastic also cracked off due to the awkward way it seals and refuses to easily come out unless you lever it carefully out on all 3 sides with the plastic tabs evenly. If you look at the piece I'm talking about, you'll see what I mean. The last piece is just annoying. It is a small magnetized plastic motor that *almost* comes out easily if I pinch it just right, but then the magnet grabs it back. If after ten or so attempts I fail to remove it, this piece necessitates that I go fetch my needlenose pliers. All 3 pieces also go flying once removed, since they are so small and stubborn. I have to cover my garborator as I disassemble this thing over the sink lest I end up on an impromptu plumbing adventure. Keeping in mind that all 3 of these pieces must be removed to wash the motor thoroughly, and that these are ideally meant to be removed *weekly* I don't understand why they are designed like this. Committing to disassembling and washing a fountain weekly/monthly is already a big enough committment without all of the extra effort. It definitely has me on the fence as to whether all of this is worth it. If I were to have a do-over, I probably wouldn't get it in the first place. The only reason I keep at it is because my cat acts as though I've betrayed her family line if I take the catit fountain away for more than a day for cleaning.

The plastic piece did not work well with the hard water so this is a great upgrade.
