Groom like a pro with FURminator’s at home grooming solutions. FURminator provides grooming confidence with safe and effective tools for brushing, detangling, de-shedding, bathing and clean up. FURminator tools for dogs and cats are trusted by professional groomers, so you can keep up with your pet’s grooming routine at home, keeping their skin and coat healthy and your home fur-free.

How to use:

For best results, use the FURminator Undercoat De-shedding Tool 1-2 times a week for 10 to 20 minutes each session, though the actual time will vary depending on your pet’s breed, the condition of their coat, and the thickness of the pet’s individual coat. It may be necessary to use the Undercoat De-shedding Tool more frequently during heavy shedding seasons. Brush your pet before using the Undercoat De-shedding Tool to remove any mats or tangles. Using the tool on matted or tangled fur can bend or break the teeth, as well as feel uncomfortable for the pet.

Warnings and Safety:

The Undercoat De-shedding Tool may be used on most animals that shed, including dogs, cats, and other pets with an undercoat. It should not be used on non-shedding breeds or on pets with particularly sensitive skin.

  • Good... but be careful

I brought this brush last week for my two long haired cats. Neither particularly enjoy a brush but will tolerate it. On using it the first time it took a lot of fur off especially the tail where it's really bushy. I wanted to be careful after reading alot of mixed reviews, so only did it for 5 minutes very gently. I used it for thr second time yesterday (5 days later). Narla's tail is very bushy and I noticed it was taking lots of hair from that area. Now it looks really thinned out which I'm not keen on! I noticed both cats have been over Grooming since I've used it only twice? I'm not sure why? I just hope it hasn't irritated their skin? Even though i used no force and only did it for five minutes? I think I'll only used it on the back leg area now where it's very fluffy so it's not a complete waste of money. I brought it hoping for it to reduce their hairballs, which are difficult for them to bring up at times, but I'm a bit too dubious to brush the tail again as it has taken a lot of fur away. I'm also wondering why they have been licking more? It's good, but pet owners need to be really careful as I think it's quite harsh. It's called a brush but I'd say it's more like a blade?

      • Transformative!

At 9 years old our long haired cat has never been fan of being brushed ... until we purchased the Furminator. In just a few uses, we are no longer covered in long white hairs from shedding!
