  • checkmarkUrinary health and weight

Just like the human obesity epidemic, 55% of the cat population is overweight. Even a little extra weight can impact the pet's quality of life, relationship with family members and over time the weight may: reduce play time, put the cat at risk of urinary conditions like bladder stones, and negatively affect general lifelong health. Stress has also been shown to negatively impact bladder health.

Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Stress + Metabolic Dry Cat Food to be clinical nutrition especially formulated to help manage a cat's urinary health and weight. In fact, the nutrition in c/d Multicare Stress + Metabolic Dry Cat Food has been shown to reduce the recurrence rate of the most common urinary signs by 89%, to reduce body weight by 11% in 60 days and contains ingredients to help manage stress.

      Yes, I recommend this product

My kitty needed to lose weight as she weighed in over 8kg. She's been the Hill's urinary and metabolic food for 2 months and has already lost 700g. She enjoys the food as does my other kitty (whom I've also transitioned because it's easier to have them both on the same food and it can't do her any harm to be on this food too). Buying my 3rd bag now 😊

Put my cats on this just over a month ago, and I can already see that my cats are more chilled! So much so, they are playing and loveable again - not nearly as skittish. Very happy and will continue to use.

            Yes, I recommend this product

My overweight, stressed (due to me being diagnosed with terminal colon cancer with 2ry spread to liver, lungs and spine) senior (aged 14 years & 2 months)male cat with proven feline urolithiasis syndrome was started on this dry diet nearly 2 years ago. His compulsive licking/fur pulling has much improved, and he seems to have no obvious urinary discomfort/pain/haematuria. Overall, this food is outstanding!!!
