Iams for Vitality for adult cats with ocean...
Cat started on this after he had dental treatment due to plaque. Vet recommended it. He's been having it now for 3yrs and not needed anymore dental treatment since. It helps dental health and bad breath too!
I've got 3 cats, only one let's me clean their teeth. My other two are very hit and miss, and they're too big and strong to hold securely on my own. There are Dental Treats, which I used to give them, but was advised not too for my two biggest, because the amount you'd have to give to be beneficial, would increase weight (neither of them needed to gain weight.) All 3 of them absolutely love these. I just sprinkle some on their food each meal. I do have to hide the bag out of the way though, because they've all tried biting through it, to get at them. They've been having them for 3 weeks, and their breath is fresher. During the warmer months, I'm going to try them having one of their meals as purely this, no wet food.
Have been feeding my cats this for a year or so following recommendation from the vet. It helped bring one cat back from needing dental cleaning to fresh white teeth and has kept the others teeth clean and healthy. Yes it is quite expensive but a 3kg bag can last me nearly 3 months as the biscuit size and quality keeps the cats full up throughout the day alongside their usual food. There’s a lot of brands supposedly recommended by vets but this one is top notch. Cannot fault them and their ingredients and it absolutely did the job it was intended to!
My maine coons love the Hills t/d cat food. They sit and wait for me to fill their bowls in the morning and evening.
Our cats, Rascal and Goji, have been using the Hills prescription t/d for years now with no dental problems.
My cat has been on this food for about 2 years now and just loves it. Has helped with keeping his teeth clean and the stomatitis at bay.
