This powerhouse filter utilizes a 5-stage filtration system to keep your water sparkling clean and healthy. Your water will stay balanced thanks to biomedia which host good bacteria. The mechanical cartridges sieve out waste whilst the activated carbon purifies the water of any hidden nasties. If that wasn't enough, the aquarium pods help your ecosystem to thrive. Finally, clear and healthy water is oxygenated and returned back to the aquarium.

How to use:

Your internal cartridge filter is set up ready for use. Simply fix the sucker mounted support cradle onto the back or side of your aquarium, and then slide the filter into place using the locator hook. It is advisable to position the filter where it is easy to reach for cleaning. The support cradle enables your cartridge filter to hook into position.

Product Care:

Bio-CF2 cartridges are designed for easy monthly changes. Simply flip up the hinged lid and replace the old cartridge with a fresh Bio-CF Coir Tech Cartridge to maintain optimal filtration and a healthy environment for your fish. Replacement cartridges are easily available in packs of 1 or 3 (sold separately). Store in a cool, dry place. Replace lids after use.

Warnings and Safety:

Before performing any maintenance always turn off power to your filter. To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following guidelines. DANGER: To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken since water is employed in the use of aquarium equipment. Do not attempt repairs yourself, return the appliance to an authorized service facility for service, or discard the appliance. This is for indoor use only - do not use outside. Do not use this unit if the cable or plug are damaged or appear to be malfunctioning, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Do not use this unit if the plug gets wet. Refer to section 2 of the instruction manual to find out how to create a drip loop for the filter. Please note: This product contains natural latex which may cause allergic reactions.

Recycling and WEE Information:

The WEE symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. This item should be recycled at Recycling Centres, eletrical item bring banks or via electrical retailers.
