These are very simple to change out. Definitely more cost efficient buying the pack of 3 as opposed to individually.

I have two fish of reasonable size. It's always a chew to think I need to change the water and filter. The filter makes the task easier. However it would be good to source a new filter container from somewhere as it's now 3 & 1/2 years old. The motor wheel needs manual maintenance most times when re-inserted into the tank and Pets at home don't stock this without buying a new tank..
