Was a bit fiddly assemble. Felt sturdy once assembled, but with my 5kg cat inside, you could see the strain on clips holding top & base. Reccomend adding bolts to the provided holes for extra support

The assembly on this case was frustrating due to the amount of finger strength needed - lots of hard plastic that needs to be clipped together. I exercise regularly and still struggled with it. The force required to clip bits together left my fingers in bits. The worst part of this case though is the handle which does not support the weight of the case WHEN EMPTY. The handle fell out while I was carrying it around the house and the case crashed to the floor, thank god my cat wasn't in it at the time. It's a soft plastic handle that you pop into the metal roof of the case but it isn't actually held in by anything. The handle has a small lip at each end which is meant to hold it in place against the metal but because the plastic handle is soft, it isn't rigid enough to keep its form and bends until it falls out. Would not recommend unless you fancy dropping your pet on the floor.

Bought for our rabbit, it's a great size for her ,as it opens from the top and front it's so easy to get her in and out

We bought this carrier in small for our maine coon x ragdoll cat to grow into and it's just perfect size wise for a bigger cat. This may not be suitable for a full breed MC as there is a weight limit and not sure I'd get it for a dog as they advertise it for. Our cat is currently 5kg at a year old. It's tall enough that he can sit upright and turn round and he loves looking out of the top on car journeys. The top opener is definitely a big win I just wish the handle folded down and there were indentations for the car seat belt to go around it like my previous carrier. Definitely recommend. We had a relatively easy build from flat pack, not sure why some people on these reviews have struggled so much maybe we were lucky. You do have to press quite firmly but it's easy enough. Love ours.
