Product description

Engages dogs mentally and physically, relieves stress, and curbs boredom. Can be used as a slow feeder, made from safe, toxin-free materials.
  • Helps relieve stress

The Nina Ottosson by Outward Hound Lickin' Layers is a Level 2 dog puzzle game and slow feeder in one, designed to challenge your dog's mind while slowing down their eating pace. Dogs have to navigate the three layers of food compartments by spinning each one to reveal the treats. Dog puzzles help pups use their natural instincts and behaviours to help their brains develop through mental stimulation, and ones like Lickin' Layers provide the enrichment they crave!

Outward Hounds dog enrichment toys provide mental and physical exercise, help relieve stress, and reduce boredom for happier, healthier pups. With over 100 treat compartments, this dog puzzle toy will keep dogs busy and engaged. It even has enough space to be used as a slow feeder to lengthen mealtimes and encourage your dog to eat at a slower, healthier pace. Increase the challenge by freezing peanut butter (xylitol-free), wet dog food, or plain Greek yogurt! Lickin' Layers is made with food-safe materials free from BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates.

  • Great puzzle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dog puzzle! Gus, our Idaho shag just loves it! He did figure it out in about 10 seconds, so I’m not sure it’s actually intermediate level since he was only 9 months old, or maybe he’s just that smart. But he does love it! It’s been highly durable and is easy to fill and reload for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My older dog seemed to love this and caught on very quickly. My younger pup who is ever timid did not enjoy it as much. Which I’m not super surprised. Overall I’d say this is a win for us and I’d love to check out the other slow feeders this brand offers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old maltese pup loved this!!! He's really really picky with his toys/puzzles and he absolutely had blast with this one. The disks are easy to clean and maintain so that's a big plus! If you're on the fence I'd say give it a try cause my picky pupper loves it and perhaps your pup will too.
