These Media Cartridges are specifically designed for Penn Plax Smallworld Filters, allowing for simple and easy media replenishment, and are for aquariums, tanks, and habitats up to 5 gallons. Cartridges come in a 2 pack.

How to use:

Attach filter holder to inside of tank wall and connect to small aquarium air pump with aquarium tubing (Pump and tubing not supplied).
Insert replacement filtration unit, with slots on top, into filter holder.
For best results, the disposably filtration unit should be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks with a fresh unit.

Product Care:

Before placing into your aquarium, tank, or habitat, please briefly rinse the media cartridge with warm water in order to remove Carbon or Zeolite dust. If not done before installation, the water could initially become dark or cloudy. For best results, replace Media Cartridges every 2 to 4 weeks. This helps maintain clean and crystal clear water for your fish.

Warnings and Safety:

Penn Plax suggest replacing your media cartridge every 2-4 weeks is necessary to maintain clean and crystal clear water for your fish.
