Having seen poor reviews of cheaper feeders, I decided to splash out on something I hoped would last. This feeder is perfect for giving a bit of flexibility and means my cat can eat little and often. You can set 1-6 meals per day, each with however many portions (1 portion is 10-11g of my cat's food). There is also the option of recording a call for your cat. For the price, it's a shame they couldn't include the back up batteries or a longer cable, but overall I'm so pleased with this feeder and it's made life a lot easier!

We choose this feeder as our cat would eat her daily portion in one go and would end up vomiting or starving until next feed. She's a stickler for time and is meowing the house down if food not served on time. The machine allows us some freedom and we are no longer obliged to get up early at the weekend. We programmed 3 feeds, with the precise healthy amount allowed for our greedy cat. Once she got used to it (she was, at first, puzzled by my disembodied voice!) it has made everybody happy in the house and we can go away for the day knowing that her meals will come on time. It didn't take too long to set up and 3kg of food last a while. The machine is plugged in and you have battery backup just in case for total peace of mind. The machine is also cat proof despite our very determined and large feline. I would totally recommend this product .
