If you want revenge as you feel bad your dog has fleas in the first place and whilst the flea treatment sets to work I recommend the following. Wet a plastic tray or similar with a mist of water and place it next to the dog. Now I used a creme brulé torch although a lighter would be surfice. Run the comb through the dogs hair in a uniformed fashion to cover all areas and as you collect a flea quickly and carefully place the comb over the tray and burn the flea on the comb before it jumps free and disappears. Then clear the flea remains etc off the comb with an old toothbrush. The comb is metal and hard rubber and is unaffected by the blast of flame. The bits and pieces stick to the wet tray. This process over 2 or more nights completely cleared our spaniel of adult fleas as mentioned above he was also treated via medication of course.

Well made and easy to clean after use. I've been using it on my puppy with curly hair.
