Pets at Home Mesh Cat Body Harness and Lead Red Set

I bought this set 45 minutes ago and was optimistic that's it would be an ideal temporary aid... And I've just spent the last ten minutes trying to catch and calm our rescue boy, after he slipped out of it in three seconds after getting scared by a car in the lane. He's still 'on probation' (housebound for a month) and has been in the garden on a lead, but before his big release I wanted to acclimatise him to our little estate's layout with more security than collar and homemade lead. Do not buy this, it's putting your cat in danger.

Bought to get our 2 rescue cats used to the garden. One cat was fine but the leash is very short - I'm 5'7" and had to stoop to walk alongside her. Other cat slipped out of it & ran off (she's fine!)

Awful fit, too loose behind the elbows and the cat could easily escape.
