Pets at Home Silicone Feeding Placemat Cream

My daughters like having water for our cats available in their rooms, but the cats kept tipping the bowls and the carpets were often damp- with a rubber mat each, we have bowls tipped less often and permanently dry carpets. Exactly what I wanted.

One of our cats has a habit of dragging her water bowl around the floor and we are sick of cleaning up the mess. Bought this mat to contain the spills but she managed to drag the bowl over the shallow edge. We've now given her a new water bowl with a grippy base which sticks to the mat so that any splashes are from her paw and not the whole bowl moving around, and all water remains within the rim of the mat. The mat itself is flexible and easy to clean with a shallow rim around the edge. Although I'd have liked a more pronounced rim this one is deep enough to contain any water. There is room for 2 standard cat food bowls and a water bowl (our other 2 cats share a mat). I've deducted one star because the mat itself moves about on the floor quite readily and I'd have preferred something with a bit more "stick", but since using it we've not had any wet floors so it is working well for its intended purpose.

I use 3 of these mats for food and water bowls - my cats are untidy eaters - the mats are easy to clean and prevent food and water escaping onto the floor.
