Our wearable devices contain batteries and other components that could be very harmful to pets, people and property if they were exposed or damaged. We build our devices to be tough, but they're not completely pet-proof – nothing could be. Animals have very strong teeth and jaws! Whenever your pet is wearing their PitPat, please make sure that other animals are not able to play with, chew or attack it. And when it's not being worn, keep it right out of the way of your pet, other animals and children. The battery inside your PitPat is very safe if it remains inside it. However, if it's removed or damaged, it could cause very rapid and very serious harm to your pet or another animal or child. Our devices contain flat "coin-cells" that can cause a lot of damage internally if they are swallowed by an animal or child. If you believe that an animal or human may have swallowed a battery, you should get immediate advice from a vet or a doctor. Do not delay!

Requires CR2032 battery. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste, only dispose of batteries in designated recycling points. When it reaches the end of its life (or before, if that's your choice), please make sure you dispose of your PitPat safely and according to the law where you live. DO NOT dispose of your PitPat in ordinary household waste, and especially not in fire. If your PitPat is still usable, please consider giving it to someone else. Re-use is better than recycling. You have the right to return your old PitPat to Pitpatpet Ltd and we will recycle it for you, if you prefer.
