Pro Plan Veterinary Diets UR Urinary Wet Adult Cat Food is a complete dietetic pet food for adult and senior cats for the dissolution of struvite stones, the reduction of struvite and calcium oxalate stone recurrence, and the nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease.

Suitable for:

Adult cats from 1 year of age and senior 7 years+.

Not suitable for:

Pregnancy, lactation and growth; Chronic kidney insufficiency; Other conditions associated with diuresis; Cats with signs of fluid retention.

Dissolution of struvite stones. The reduction of struvite and calcium oxalate stone recurrence. Nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease.

Increased water consumption can help dilute the urine and further decrease the risk of crystal formation. For dissolution of struvite stones, an initial feeding period of 5-12 weeks is recommended. The diet should be continued for at least 4 weeks past complete dissolution of the stone(s) and for the reduction of recurrence ideally a minimum of 6 months. For long-term use, an initial feeding period of up to 6 months is recommended, but the cat should be re-evaluated regularly as indicated by the underlying condition. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Water should always be available.

Calculated Calorie Content: This food contains 84 kcal/100g or 71 kcal/85g - see feeding guide ME (Metabolizable Energy).

For Cats over 8kg: for each additional kg of body weight, feed an additional 15g of dry food or 3/4 pouch per day. When feeding dry and wet can, for each addition of 1/4 Feline UR wet can, reduce by 10g dry kibble.

    My cat was very ill with urinary problems cost me over 1000 at vets he was on normally purina food but I swapped it out as he's such a big cat to feed but got ill he loves this and touch wood so far he's been Brill since he is low in weight so working on that but he loves and not been sick since thank you sadly on this for life but it's worth it if I get long years with my baby thank you purina
