How to use:
This Easy to use, Dual Scan Microchip Cat Flap, is supplied with a quick start guide, which will guide you through the installation and setup process. The Dual Scan SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap can be installed in doors, windows, and walls. DIY installation can be completed in under 1 hour, and configuration of your Dual Scan Microchip Cat Flap, can be completed in minutes.
The exterior of the cat flap measures 210mm (W) x 210mm (H);
For fitting into doors, a hole size of 165mm (W) x 171mm (H) is required. For glass installation (windows and doors), a glazier will need to be consulted, and a mounting adaptor (7118152), will need to be purchased.
The cat flap is suitable as a drop-in replacement for most standard-sized cat flaps;
For wall installations, the tunnel length is 70mm (D) and the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Tunnel Extender (sold separately) may be required for thicker walls. For wall installation, we recommend consulting a builder or wall installation specialist, and the use of tunnel extenders (7118153) is recommended. Installation accessories can be purchased from the Pets At Home web store;
When mounting in glass, a circular hole with a diameter of 212mm should be cut;
The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Mounting Adapter (sold separately) is needed to mount the cat flap and cover any remaining space;
It allows mounting into holes with a diameter of 212mm (min) to 260mm (max).
