Fish react very sensitively to excessive changes in the pH value, which impacts their well-being. The general hardness affects the vital functions of fish, while the carbonate hardness has a direct influence on the stability of the pH value (pH buffer). Nitrite is extremely harmful, even in very low concentrations, and should not be detectable in the water.

Tetra 6 in 1 test strips enable you to quickly and reliably determine the six most important water values in your aquarium in just 60 seconds. The pH, carbonate hardness (KH), general hardness (GH), nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-) and chlorine (Cl2) in the aquarium water are measured, and the colour chart can be used to determine whether these are within the safe range.

How to use:

Move the test strip back and forth in the water a few times. Shake off the excess liquid. Wait approx. 60 seconds and compare the test fields with the colour chart. Caution: Do not touch the test fields or hold them under flowing water! Further information about each of the water values can be found in the enclosed instructions for use.
