Limnophila sessiliflora is a beautiful and undemanding plant from Southeast Asia. Its incredibly fast growth makes Limnophila sessiliflora an ideal 'helper' plant when starting up an aquarium. The stem quickly grows to over 40 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. Under good growing conditions, it readily produces runners and spreads across the bottom. The cut top and side shoots can be planted in the substrate, where they will quickly form roots and continue to grow.
