Composition

Powder 76.9%: Casein (Trypsin hydrolysed bovine casein), Maltodextrin, Magnesium stearate. Capsule 23.1%: Bovine skin gelatine.

Warnings and Safety:

Zylkene is a complementary feeding stuff for dogs and cats and not a veterinary medicine. Keep out of sight and reach of children. For animal use only. Contains feed materials from animal origin. Do not give to ruminants.

How to use:

For oral administration. The recommended daily amount should be given in one intake. The capsule can be opened, and the powder can be mixed with food.
Short term use: begin use 1-2 days before the predicted stressful event or change in environment. Longer term use: use for 1 month then reassess their behaviour, continue if needed.

  • Not as effective as I hoped

    A vet suggested this product when I asked for advice about my reactive dog. Whilst there was an improvement it was not as pronounced as I had hoped

  • I gave Zylkene to Evie to help her through Bonfire night.

    Sadly they did not help at all….Evie shook and panted all evening with the bangs, even tho I had the television on extra loud.

  • Super effective

    My dog is scared on noise, fireworks and loud sounds. She's trembling and hiding everytime she heard loud noise. So I ordered zylkene and let my dog take it twice a day. It's so effective, she feels relax and behave when there's a loud noise. So this Christmas where many fireworks display I won't hesitate to give her Zylkene.

    We have used them before for bonfire ?? night and they worked well, by relaxing our dog who is a usually very reactive to fire works
