Dogs with digestive sensitivities can benefit from a balanced diet containing nutrients that help to support good digestive health. Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat Loaf is a fat-restricted diet that is tailor-made to support the nutritional needs of dogs with digestive sensitivities where digestion of fat is an issue. This product is available in 410g cans. It can be difficult to pinpoint the cause of your dog's digestion issue, but some signs can include loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, and constipation. Thanks to an ideal balance of fibres and prebiotics, Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat Loaf helps to stimulate healthy digestion and transit. Prebiotics help to stimulate a good balance of beneficial bacteria to support a healthier digestive environment. As some dogs cannot digest fat very easily, this exclusive is significantly low in fat whilst still meeting your dog's nutritional requirements. Even though the fat content has been reduced, the high-quality protein and digestible carbohydrates in Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat Loaf help ensure your dog maintains its energy levels. As part of the Royal Canin Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each dog's individual preferences, Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat is also available as dry kibble. If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your dog gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the need of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.

  • Didn't suit my dog

    Yes, I recommend this product

Too rich, could only use the dry version, which itself needed fibre added.

            • Royal canin gastrointestinal low fat wet dog food

              Yes, I recommend this product

I have a 7 year old german shepherd rescue with a sensitive stomach. I mix one tin of the wet food, half tin morning/half night and add Royal canin gastrointestinal low fat dry food to her diet. Sometimes I add a little warm water to the dry food. This has greatly helped her. She has been on this food for 5 months now under vets advice and can see a great improvement. Will be keeping her on this food long term. Thanks to Pets at Home I can have it either delivered or pick up in store.
