Ageing dogs like yours have different nutritional needs to puppies or even adult dogs. When your dog reaches its senior years, switching to a diet that suitably caters to its changing nutritional needs can help to support good health and wellbeing during the ageing process. Suitable for dogs aged 7 years or over, Royal Canin Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Loaf is specially formulated with the nutritional requirements of ageing dogs like yours in mind. Struvite is a naturally occurring component in your dog's urine. When your dog's urine becomes too concentrated, harmful bladder stones known as struvite stones can form.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Loaf is specially developed with an exclusive complex of nutrients that help to dissolve up to 80% of all struvite stones. Containing an exclusive blend of antioxidants and nutrients, Royal Canin Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Loaf helps to support ageing dogs in a variety of ways. To help maintain the health of your dog's kidneys, this formula includes very high quality protein, while other carefully balanced nutrients help to support your dog's cognitive function and vitality.

As part of the Royal Canin Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each dog's individual preferences, Royal Canin Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ is also available as dry food, with crunchy and tasty kibble.* If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your dog gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit.

At Royal Canin, they're committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet's needs. All of their products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food, as well as catering to your dog's specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your dog eats Royal Canin Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Loaf, it's getting a complete and balanced diet.

Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the need of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.

  • Excellent quality product

    Yes, I recommend this product

We have been giving our dog (Shih Tzu x Lhasa Apso) this food for the last 5 years since recovering from a bladder stone. He loves it every morning spread onto his lickimat. He has this alongside the royal canin urinary s/o dried food. He has been well for the past 5 years and we are hopeful it will stay that way whilst on this food. His coat is so soft and shiny. It’s good that we can buy a pack containing 4 boxes because it saves us a little bit of money!

    • Perfect for keeping those struvite stones away!

No, I don't recommend this product

My shih tzu had surgery 2 years ago to remove troublesome struvite stones. Since being on S/O food (biscuits and wet food) there has been no return of stones and she's in such good health. I did worry she would not enjoy the food as it doesn't look or smell particularly appealing but she's so enthusiastic about meal time it must taste good to her!

        Yes, I recommend this product

Vet advised urinary diet after diagnosis of Stuvite Crystals in urine. Very much enjoys this food mixed with same brand Kibble. Handy sized pouches which is useful when travelling.

        • Change of food

My dog was diagnosed with stones so had operation to have them removed, was informed he had to change his diet so the stones don't return, ordered dry and wet urinary so, My dog Stanley loves his new food, sits and waits for me to put in his bowl.

I have now tried Honey on the pate and the one in gravy nuanced with the RC Urinary So biscuits and whilst she eats both she seems to prefer the one in gravy. However I would recommend both
