  • do not buy - caused DCM and killed my dog

    No, I don't recommend this product

    Grain Free Acana Killed my 3.5 year old pit mix. He was fed this brand exclusively for nearly 4 years and died on 4.09.26 from severe heart failure caused by DCM. This has been reported to U of G as well as the FDA. Please look into this more as a pet owner as this is a well documented issue that there is lots of research on. Sadly it is too late for us but we want to keep our boys legacy alive by spreading as much awareness as possible.

      We started our Springer spaniel on it at about 12 weeks. She has boundless energy and inhales this food. We mix it with a little warm water . Her coat shines and can’t wait for diner !

        I was warned about this grain free food. I had no idea it could cause heart failure. Please put a warning on your labels. Grain free is not a fit for everyone.

            Yes, I recommend this product

            My pups started on Acana and now 10 years later still on Acana. They have loved every dry food they have tried. Throughout the years they have been on a few different recipes. They love Acana and they are very healthy, happy dogs with beautiful coats ! I would highly recommend Acana and have recommended it many times.

              I have a 110 lb 1 yr old Cane Corso. Picky eater. He scarfs this down like it steak. I use this kibble as treats to train. He seems more energetic ( if that's possible) and just looks happy.
