        I heard really good things about Acana, but my puppy disliked it from about 3 days in. I did a bit more research and spoke to my vet - Acana has been linked to heart disease in giant breeds, so I decided to change over to Pro Plan by Purina. I definitely won't recommend to people with giant breeds for that reason, but also wont' recommend in general as my puppy who is normally so excited at dinner time didn't even look at his bowl when I put it down.

              Our 3.5 month old Standard Poodle pup absolutely loves this food. The chicken recipe is a total hit. He gets so excited everytime we scoop it for him. He also has no reaction to it. And it was very easy on him when we switched him from the stuff he came with. We are all around happy campers!
