The ADAPTIL Junior collar is an effective solution to comfort newly adopted puppies as they learn about and adapt to their new world. Perfect to help with night crying, spending time home alone, adjusting to loud noises, and during training. Simple to use, just pop the collar on for your puppy to receive the comforting pheromones wherever they are.  ADAPTIL Junior quickly and effectively reduces puppy stress-related behaviours after moving to their new home, with puppy parents reporting less disturbance over night*. Adaptil Junior also improves the socialisation of puppies**. 79% of puppy parents rated their pup's socialisation as good or very good after wearing 2 consecutive ADAPTIL Junior collars. Replacing the collar when needed or monthly—for puppies, it is recommended to use one for 6 months. The only time you ever need to remove the collar is if you are bathing them.

Suitable for:

Puppies from 8 weeks old up to 6 months of age. The collar fits necks up to 37.5cm (up to approximately 15kg).

Not suitable for:

Composition

Analogue canine appeasing pheromones 5%, excipients q.s. 1 collar 100g

Warnings and Safety:

It is a legal requirement under The Control of Dogs Order 1992 for a dog to wear a collar and tag in a public place. A collar should fit comfortably, but make sure you can fit two fingers between the collar and neck (and remember to regularly check carefully under the collar for redness or hair loss that could be caused by an ill-fitting collar). Remember, young pets grow fast and their collars will need adjusting regularly and eventually replacing. WARNING: When using liquid flea treatments on your pet, please remove their collar as the chemical may react with the material and the buckle. For your pet's safety, examine the collar regularly for wear and tear and replace when appropriate, remembering also that pets can chew items unexpectedly, and if any material is ingested to seek immediate veterinary advice.

How to use:

The collar fits necks up to 37.5cm (up to approximately 15kg), it should be fitted snuggly to the neck of the puppy, the 'comforting messages' will diffuse out of the ADAPTIL Junior Collar after it is warmed by the puppy's body heat. In the unlikely event the collar gets caught it is designed to break under tension. Place the collar on your puppy alongside their normal collar. The collar needs to be snug to the neck as it is activated by the body heat. Leave on for a month and replace. Only remove when bathing your puppy.

    This doesn't work - had no effect on my puppy at all.

    • Definitely not puppy love

      My nine week old puppy did not like the collar. He instantly began to try and get the collar off. I left it for some time to see if he would settle but he was more distressed with the collar than without it. Unfortunately for me it was a waste of money.
