API Root Tabs are formulated to supply key nutrients, including iron and potassium and carbon, to help new aquatic plants get off to a vigorous start and to keep established plants flourishing. These nutrients are consumed over time in the aquarium and must be replenished for plants to thrive. Add tablets monthly to ensure best results.

How to use:
Add 1 tablet for each 194 square cm of gravel surface area. To work out the surface area of your tank's gravel, simply multiply your tank's width (front to back) by its length (side to side). Then, divide the result by 194 to calculate how many tablets you will need. For example, the calculation for a 30cm wide by 40cm long tank would be 30 x 40 = 1200, so then 1200 / 194 = 6.18 Tablets.
