Please remember this is only a guide - individual metabolism, activity levels, age and environment should all be considered when calculating the daily amount to feed your dog. Their full AVA range includes specific life-stage and special functional products.
If you are new to AVA kibble or are transitioning from one life-stage to the next, it is advisable to introduce their food slowly over 4-7 days. They also recommend feeding AVA kibble in 2 equal portioned meals and at regular times each day. This will help balance the nutritional benefit of their AVA formulations throughout the day, before and after most active times.

It is very important not to overfeed or excessively give treats as both can have serious longer-term health consequences. They also recommend that you weigh your dog regularly to help manage their food intake and to spot any signs of weight change early on.       Our dog has this food on repeat subscription, however when the latest bag came he wouldn’t touch the food in his bowl, which is very unlike him as he loves his food. My husband popped down to pets at home and they suggested he take the bag into them, so he did and they swapped it for another bag but checked the barcode wasn’t the same batch. It took him a while to get him eating properly again, but he’s back to enjoying his food again. He must have just smelt something off with the other bag.
