AVA advise that you only feed this AVA kibble to dogs aged from 8 months to 8 years. This formulation is not suitable for puppies under 6 months. Please remember this is only a guide - individual metabolism, activity levels, age and environment should all be considered when calculating the daily amount to feed your dog. The full AVA range includes specific life-stage and special functional products.

If you are new to AVA kibble or are transitioning from one life-stage to the next, it is advisable to introduce new food slowly over 4-7 days. AVA also recommend feeding AVA kibble in 2 equal portioned meals and at regular times each day. This will help balance the nutritional benefit of AVA formulations throughout the day, before and after most active times.

It is very important not to overfeed* or excessively give treats as both can have serious longer-term health consequences. AVA recommend that you weigh your dog regularly to help manage their food intake and to spot any signs of weight change early on. It is important that fresh clean water is always available in a suitable drinking vessel appropriate to the size, life-stage and breed of dog. Dogs should be supervised at all times whilst feeding.

  • Frenchy dog food

    Yes, I recommend this product

    Been buying this since we got the dog. He would prefer bacon, chicken, bread and anything else he could find. However this food is the best quality dry food, it agrees with his digestion and reduces the Frenchy proclivity for gas. His skin is healthy and we are not going to fix something that isn’t broken.

        I have used this product since l had my 2 dauschunds who are 3 and 5 years old , l am complemented on their beautiful coats all the time and l am sure this is due to Ava food. They both are happy and healthy dogs so l am more than pleased with this product
