I always thought camera bird feeders were cool but I didn’t think I would need or want one, what’s the point when I can watch them myself? I must say I am so happy I finally got one! I mounted my “Birdfy Feeder Ebony - Wooden Smart Bird Feeder” on a cedar post in my front yard, and it’s been amazing watching all the different birds that visit throughout the day. I never realized how much activity I was missing until I could see everything up close! The birds found it quickly and have been visiting regularly! I also am finding I don’t have to fill it as often as I thought, the bird food reservoir holds quite a bit! The camera quality is excellent, and I love getting notifications or just being able to go through them at my leisure. The AI bird identification is usually very accurate, and the app makes it easy to save photos and videos. The app is cool too because there is a “community” feature where you can see other people’s photos they’ve shared. The solar panel is a great addition, and it’s been well worth it. I haven’t had to worry about charging the feeder, even with frequent use. I did paint the wood with a varnish to protect it from the elements as recommended. If you’re thinking about buying a smart bird feeder, I can’t recommend Birdfy enough. Well made feeder, attractive looking, and easy to set up and install.

The bird feeder is amazing. It was easy to put together and a great design. The camera is great quality and displays a large view. Can't wait to see all the birds it brings.

Having a built in solar panel is awesome. The camera attaches in the space with the cable and a magnet. The squirrel did manage to knock it out once, but I made sure it was secure and it has stayed in there ever since. You really get an up close and personal view on this camera. It holds alot of seed and it is an attractive addition to the backyard collection.

It even came with a little sign that attaches to the feeder (and stickers!) so you can customize your feeder. Warning: Don't waste your time making a sign to deter the squirrels, they won't read it. Ha!

We have a few other Birdfy feeders and this one was the easiest to setup and it holds a lot more seed than the other feeders. We love it so much and the videos are great. I highly recommend this feeder
