Catit Cabrio Pet Carrier

We have 4 of these carriers and find them great. The only issue is the plastic pin that holds. the door latch in place. I had to replace them with metal pins.

It broke the firts day I tried to assemble it. I reached out to the Hagen Group to get a replacement part and silence. I tried to return it and again, silence. Much too expensive for the poor quality and very hard to assemble. Would not recommend.

Much shoddier than I expected. Big open seam near top where pieces dont align tightly. Feels like it would break apart in a fall as it is mostly held together by weak plastic snaps. Size is good, but in hindsight I should have bought the cheaper, simpler model. Construction does not live up to price.

These are great and the top opening part makes it really easy to get cats in them calmly. I just wish there were more than 3 colors as I have 4 cats… I also think the food cups that it comes with are too deep as the sides will hit their whiskers

I have purchased two cabrio carriers. I LOVE this carrier but the design of the door is hopeless. The reason that I purchased carrier number two is b/c carrier number one’s door handle fell apart and so the carrier could only be used as a top loader. Within one month of using carrier number two, its door handle mechanism broke too!!!Same spot on the door related to the handle. I use my carriers a lot b/c I do cat rescue and am back and forth to the vet with tame and feral cats often.

After several months of use, I can say that this is quite a functional carrier. My cat does better in this one, with the ventilation so she doesn’t overheat and the visibility of the clear door. The only drawback is that it is a little bulky and heavy. But a small price to pay for her comfort.
