I saw this in the store and thought it would be perfect for the lake! The first thing I did was look online to see if it would float and I read that it did - yay, score! So I bought it. You can't even imagine my disappointment when I yelled "Go get it!" to my dog, and the whole family laughed as I watched it drop into the depths like a torpedo. So sad, and the water is too deep to dive for it so I can't even use it on land, return or exchange it. I'm kicking myself for not testing it first or researching more online. I think it would be a great toy, but I cannot recommend for those looking for a water toy.

Bought this because it was labelled “high buoyancy” unfortunately that’s not the case.

My 4 year old lab easily chewed the stick into a few pieces. She’s not an exceptional chewer, so I was surprised the stick was as thin and easily destroyable as it was.

Bought this because it was labelled “high buoyancy”. We like using chuckit balls at the beach so the dogs can swim but they often bury them in the sand so I thought the stick would be better. Threw it in for the excited dogs and… it disappeared. Thankfully I threw it shallow and was able to retrieve it, and then I tried it several more times, and it sank every time.

My dog disintegrates any toy he gets his hands on I have a couple of the ultra balls that lasted longer than I expected purchase the stick in was completely dissatisfied he destroyed it in a matter of minutes.

Dogs love it! They play tug with it a lot. Very durable.
