Drontal Tasty Bone worming tablets work fast to kill every type of intestinal worm commonly found in UK dogs, giving you peace of mind that you are helping keep internal parasites away from your pet and family.

Composition

Each tablet contains 150 mg febantel, 50 mg pyrantel (equivalent to 144 mg pyrantel embonate) and 50 mg praziquantel.

Product Care:

Keep out of sight and reach of children and wash hands after use.

Warnings and Safety:

This product is for animal use only and should under no circumstances be administered to any animal other than that which is stated for. Not for use in dogs weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use in pregnant dogs during the 1st and 2nd third of pregnancy. A single treatment during the last third of pregnancy or during lactation has been demonstrated safe. Keep out of sight and reach of children and wash hands after use. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

How to use:

Meat flavoured, bone-shaped tablets. Can be given alone or with food.

How to weigh your pet

Follow these three simple steps:
1. Weigh yourself on an ordinary pair of bathroom scales.
2. Pick up your dog* then weigh yourself and your dog together.
3. Subtract your weight from the combined weight of you and your dog.

*Larger or challenging dogs can be difficult to weigh using this method. At Pets at Home, we offer a free weighing service in all our PetCare Centres, so feel free to bring them in and we can weigh them for you. Use 'Find a Store' to find your nearest Petcare Centre.

Research has shown that the majority of dogs in the UK should be wormed monthly, based on their home environment and lifestyle such as scavenging, spending time outdoors off their lead and even access to back gardens.* However, there may be situations where less frequent treatment is required and it's best to speak to your vet about the most appropriate worming frequency for your dog.

  • Difficult to administer

    Although they seem to do the job, they are not tasty as it is a battle to get them into our dog. She is very treat orientated but have tried wrapping them in all sorts and crushing them up in various things but still can't get a full dose in one go.

    This is the only wormer I can get all 4 dogs to take without any fuss normally they spit other tablets out and I have to try 2 or 3 times to get them to swallow it nope not this one
