The Exo Terra T5 Terrarium Top High-Performance Fixture delivers up to 2.5 times more light output thanks to a polished reflector, enhancing UV penetration and allowing for proper lighting in taller or densely screened terrariums. Its elegant and stylish design suits all kinds of terrariums and integrates into any living room.

The high-quality electronic ballast eliminates flickering completely and increases the performance and lifespan of any T5 VHO bulb whilst ensuring a stress-free environment for reptiles.

The fixture comes with a grounded plug for maximum safety, and is protected against over-voltage, over-current, end of lamp life (EOL) and over-heating. Up to 10 Exo Terra T5 Terrarium Tops can be easily linked using the optional grounded interconnection cable. This reduces cable clutter and allows you to control all 10 fixtures via 1 timer, offering convenience for multiple enclosures.

Please note: This fixture is specifically developed for use with the Exo Terra Reptile UVB T5 bulb, but can also be used with any other T5 linear fluorescent bulb of the appropriate wattage.

How to use:

The T5 Terrarium Top is specifically developed for use with the Exo Terra Reptile UVB T5 Very High Output Linear Fluorescent Bulbs, but can also be used with any other T5 linear fluorescent bulb of the appropriate wattage. Please read the operation manual carefully before use and operate according to the instructions provided for maximum safety and performance. UV radiation slowly decreases over time. To assure that your animals continuously receive the right amount of UV, we recommend replacing your Exo Terra Reptile UVB VHO T5 Bulb after 1 year of use.

Product Care:

No special maintenance is required for the T5 Terrarium Top, other than a periodic cleaning with a damp cloth to remove any dust or mineral deposits that may collect over time. Unplug the transformer prior to cleaning the light fixture and remove it from the terrarium. Do not use detergents or harsh cleaners as it can damage the light fixture. Make sure all surfaces are dry before re-connecting the transformer to the power source.

WARNING: UV emitted from this RG2 lamp. Eye or skin irritation may result from exposure. Use appropriate shielding. Do not stare into this light source, just like you would not stare into direct sunlight. This appliance is NOT waterproof and MUST be protected from coming in contact with water. This equipment is FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY, NOT for commercial use. WARNING: THIS IS NOT AN AQUARIUM CANOPY It should not be used on any type of aquarium. Not for damp locations.
