This Indoor Cage is intended as a temporary home. Our temporary homes can be placed within a larger enclosure as a secluded sleeping space for indoor Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, used to house your pet whilst cleaning their habitat or performing maintenance, to transport your pet if you’re moving home or as a secure space for poorly pets who need to rest. You may even want to use a temporary home to introduce new pets to each other – letting them get used to another rabbit’s presence slowly and safely. We do not recommend using a temporary home as a permanent place for your rabbit or guinea pig to live in.
This wooden guinea pig cage is designed to provide a comfortable and versatile living space. To create the Guinny, Ferplast uses FSC™ certified (C146750) Nordic pine wood, that is wood sourced from forests that are managed correctly and responsibly according to strict environmental, social and economic standards and other controlled sources. The wood is protected with a non-toxic, water-based paint, guaranteeing safety and well-being for your animal and longer product life.
This home stands out for its versatility and flexibility, adapting to the needs of your pets as they grow. It can be connected to other cages of the same model either at the front or at the side, thus creating a dynamic and appropriate habitat for your pets. The modern design with removable, transparent plastic walls allows a full view of your guinea pigs for daily monitoring, whilst the upper part is completely open, providing easy access for interacting with your pet and performing care and cleaning tasks.
The removable plastic tray collects dirt and makes cleaning easier, helping to ensuring a hygienic environment. For added convenience, the cage is equipped with pivoting wheels with brakes, allowing it to be moved around the house. The wheels are removable, making it easy to switch from a mobile to a fixed configuration, adapting the cage to different needs and ensuring stability and safety in every situation.
