For tropical species it should be set between 23C and 26C. Using the suckers provided, install the heater into the aquarium in an area of high flow, and ensuring it is positioned below the minimum water line of the aquarium. Position the heater at a 45 degree angle to get the best heating affect. Once the aquarium is filled with water, turn the heater on at the power supply - the red indicator light will turn on to show the heater is on, and will then turn off once the water has reached your set temperature.Care and safetyProduct Care: Maintenance. Switch off and unplug the heater, then allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the aquarium. Clean the heater using fresh, clean water. Reinstall the heater into the aquarium at the 45 degree angle - ensuring the heater is positioned below the minimum water line.
