A mild, non-irritant formula that cleans and deodorises small animals, with a fresh Dewberry fragrance with Citronella to help to repel insects.

Johnson's Small Animal Shampoo has been developed for use with Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, Rats, and other small animals over 12 weeks of age. It cleanses and deodorises, and is a mild and non-irritant shampoo. Fragranced with Dewberry.

Who is it for?

  • Suitable for

    Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Degus, Rats, Gerbils, Syrian Hamsters, Dwarf Hamsters, Mice.

  • Not suitable for

    All animals under 12 weeks of age. Not suitable for all cats, dogs and birds.

  • Important information

    Always keep animals warm after bathing. If animal is housed outdoors, make sure coat is completely dry before returning to hutch, etc. Warning. Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children. Wear eye protective gloves/eye protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists seek medical advice/attention. May produce an allergic reaction.

Warnings and Safety

How to use:

Mix Shampoo (approximately 20ml) into about 150ml (1 cupful) of lukewarm water. Wet coat with warm water and apply mixture, massaging into coat, using finger-tips around head. Avoid eyes, ears, mouth and other sensitive areas. Rinse well with clean warm water, and towel dry, especially with long coated breeds, then brush or groom. Important Information: Always keep animals warm after bathing. If animal is housed outdoors, make sure coat is completely dry before returning to hutch, etc.

  • Dose the job

    Dose the job when bathing the guinea pigs now and then only when they really need to be bathed. Don't bath Guinea Pigs unless it's really necessary

      rabbits should not be bathed ! There body's aren't good at regulating their temp so can go into shock ! Plus bunny's are self cleaning animals
