  • Do not use

Do not use this. Both my dogs have had allergic reactions £100 each in vet bills!

    • Much better than spot-on treatment

My cat hates spot-on treatments and find them stressful. Having an easily-disguised pill which can be pushed into a piece of chicken or other favourite food makes the job a lot easier for us both. He's displayed no ill-effects at all. My only concern is that neither the packaging not the leaflet indicate how often the tablet should be administered (except in cases of existing infestation -- not the case here -- where it specifies every 14 days). I called Pets At Home and they confirmed that this is intended to be a monthly dose, and should be ideally administered a couple of days after the cat has had its monthly flea treatment. Many other wormers are applied quarterly, which may lead to come confusion, which makes me wonder why the dosage frequency is not clearly displayed.

      • Dewormer

I bought this wormer for my 12 week old XL Bully puppy. He has had no side effects and not become ill in any way. It has the same ingredients as all the other dewormers only difference is that this wormer treats 3 types of worms instead of use 2 that others treat. Fun fact for lungworm you do have to get a separate wormer from the vets themselves.

        • not good

I gave this to my dog on Sunday. About 3 hours later she was so sick. 2 days later she still isn't back to her normal self.

          • Don't understand the negative reviews

This has got the exact same ingredients as Drontal which another reviewer said they'd always used without issue but reckoned this made their dog ill. It sounds like that was just a coincidence and the dog had a bug or eaten something it shouldn't have. This is excellent value for money for a duplicate of the market leading worming tablets which are much more expensive, this is just the dog worming equivalent of having genetic paracetamol v a branded name version. The gentleman who served us at the Harrogate branch was so helpful.

            • Don't buy

This made my dog vomit through the night. She 12 and 6 months old already got DM and struggles to walk to hear her whinging last night and seeing her like this was heart breaking.
