Arden Grange puppy/junior large breed is a complete,...
I've been mixing puppy with fish kibbles (both Orijen) for a few years now. It's definately a HUGE improvement from the food I was feeding my dog prior (Costco). It's at the point where I'm considering taking the next step and going full raw meat mixed diet. Cost wise, if I make it myself, it's certailnly close. But still considering half and half mix with kibble.
My 13 week old puppy loves this food and I love that he's getting such fresh ingredients.
In spite of my disappointment that the parent company of Orijen - Champion Pet Foods - was bought out by Mars, this brand still upholds phenomenal quality. It has probably the highest protein content of any food I've analyzed, and one of the cleanest ingredients list with animal proteins being the most plentiful. It is potato-free as well. I feed raw however, within the last year, we got a new puppy who is quite large for his breed and slower growing so we have kept him part-time on kibble even though he is currently a year and a half old. Additionally, he got my girl pregnant and I put her back on kibble as well for some of her meals through pregnancy and nursing and Orijen has been the food of my choosing due to its ingredients and impressive macro content. I have continued to feed it throughout the period of her nursing. The puppies are now 5 and a half weeks old and weaning and I started them right on Orijen puppy soft, again for its most impressive macro content and calorie count. Now that their milk teeth are well-breached they have also started on Orijen puppy kibble. My two adult dogs and their six beautiful and healthy puppies (all full breed Standard Poodles) are all thriving. I firmly believe in a raw diet but if you're choosing a kibble for any reason, Orijen is one of your best choices. Canadian made!
I was given a few product samples for puppy snacks and he went crazy. Now I must buy a whole bag!
We purchased Orijin Puppy when we got our Doodle pup. We had planned on mixing half and half but our pup decided she would only need Orijin. So from day one we have fed straight puppy. She loves the puppy formula and have recommended d it to others.
This has been the ideal food for our 15 week old Serbian Rottweiler. She is thriving, steadily gaining weight & the benefits of this brand are insane
