Panacur Worming Granules are a broad-spectrum anthelmintic treatment designed to eliminate a variety of roundworms and tapeworms including lungworm and Giardia in cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. The granules are easy to administer by mixing with food, making it convenient for pet owners to ensure their pets are worm-free.

Due to changes in legislation, we are unable to send this item to Northern Ireland. An alternative product may be available in one of our stores.

Your pet should be accurately weighed prior to treatment to ensure that the correct amount of Panacur Worming Granules is administered. For animal treatment only. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Direct contact with skin should be kept to a minimum. Avoid inhalation of granule dust. Wash hands after use. Gastrointestinal signs (such as vomiting and diarrhoea) can occur in very rare cases in dogs and cats. The product can also be safely administered to pregnant dogs and cats. As teratogenic effects in dogs and cats cannot be completely ruled out in very rare cases, the treatment in the first two trimesters of pregnancy should be based on the benefit-risk evaluation by the responsible veterinary surgeon.

How to weigh your pet

Follow these three simple steps:
1. Weigh yourself on an ordinary pair of bathroom scales.
2. Pick up your pet then weigh yourself and your pet together.
3. Subtract your weight from the combined weight of you and your pet.

Larger or challenging pets can be difficult to weigh using this method. At Pets at Home, we offer a free weighing service in all our PetCare Centres, so feel free to bring them in and we can weigh them for you. Use 'Find a Store' to find your nearest Petcare Centre.
Containing the active ingredient Fenbendazole (0.22g per 1g), Panacur Worming Granules should be administered orally by mixing directly with your pet's feed.

Pregnant dogsAdminister 25 mg fenbendazole per 1 kg (2.2 lb) bodyweight daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously to 2 days post-whelping (approximately 25 days).4.5 g sachet /dose Treats 40 kg (88 lb) bodyweight daily approx. 25 days. For bitches weighing over 40 kg, additional sachets are required according to the additional bodyweight.
Increased dosing for specific infections:

For the treatment of clinical worm infestations in adult dogs and cats or Giardia spp. infections in dogs, administer 50 mg fenbendazole per 1 kg (2.2 lb) bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days.

For the control of lungworm Oslerus (Filaroides) osleri in dogs administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1 kg (2.2 lb) bodyweight, daily for 7 consecutive days.

A repeat course of treatment may be required in some cases. For the control of lungworm Aelurostrongylus abstrusus in cats administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1 kg (2.2 lb) bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days.
