Love Fish sand is the ideal way to enhance the appearance of your fish tank, it will help you create the desired look and provides an easily maintained base for your tank. This decorative aquarium sand is the perfect planting medium due to its finer size, with the smaller granulation being ideal for the sensitive barbels of fish that dig or forage. The natural sand isn't enhanced with dye or added colours and will not affect the pH balance of your tank meaning trouble free fish keeping.

How to use:

When changing the gravel in an established aquarium, it is important to do all you can to preserve the biological balance of your aquarium. We advise that you reduce the amount of food you feed your fish for a couple of days before and after you change the gravel, re-use as much of the existing water in the tank as possible and use a biological filter aid to help re-stablish the biological balance in your aquarium. Remember to treat any new tap water you use to top up your aquarium with a tap water conditioner.

Recycling and WEE Information:

Recycle with bags at large supermarket. Don't recycle at home.

  • Very effective

    This is a good substrate. I wanted a sand look on the bottom looks more natural. Also bumble bee catfish tend to prefer sand as they can hide in it. Nothing bad about it does exactly what I wanted in my tank.
