A vet-recommended dietetic food for cats with urinary tract conditions, designed to help reduce the recurrence of urinary stones.

The Purina PRO PLAN Veterinary Diet Feline UR St/Ox Urinary is a complete veterinary diet for cats with Urinary Tract Conditions. The food is specially formulated to help dissolve struVitamine urinary crystals and stones and helps reduce the risk of urinary stones recurring (struVitamine and calcium oxalate). The PRO PLAN food can also help nutritionally manage feline iodiopathic cystitis by increasing water intake and encouraging the production of dilute urine. PRO PLAN UR contains nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids and natural sources of glycosaminoglycans which help support the health of the urinary tract. Please note that all indications for the Purina PRO PLAN Veterinary Diet are for the dietary support of cats with the listed conditions and do not preclude appropriate medical management.

Not suitable for:

Pregnant queens, growing kittens.

See Table. Increased water consumption can help dilute the urine and further decrease the risk of crystal formation. For dissolution of struvite stones, an initial feeding period of 5-12 weeks is recommended. The diet should be continued for at least 4 weeks past complete dissolution of the stone(s) and for the reduction of recurrence ideally a minimum of 6 months. For long-term use, an initial feeding period of up to 6 months is recommended, but the cat should be re-evaluated regularly as indicated by the underlying condition. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Water should always be available.

Calculated Calorie Content: This food contains 380 kcal/100g ME (Metabolizable Energy).

For cats over 8kg: for each additional kg of body weight, feed and additional 15g of dry food or 1/3 of can or 3/4 pouch per day. When feeding dry and wet can, for addition of 1/4 Feline UR wet can, reduce by 10g dry kibble.
