Royal Canin Labrador Retriever Dry 5+ Dog Food 12kg

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this, as I worry about my getting all of her essential vitamins etc and this is tailored to her breed. The big bag is resealable, which is fantastic. It doesn’t come with any scoop so I did have to buy my own. The food itself is large but all the same shape. It smells rather neutral (some dry food really reeks!) and isn’t dusty so doesn’t transfer onto items. I had high hopes that my dog would love this! Sadly, it’s not the case. She tried a few pellets and turned her nose up. I tried not giving her usual food, to make sure was hungry but she still refused. It’s now been a week or so and she point blank refuses to eat it. I am very disappointed, as I now have a huge bag sat in my kitchen that I can’t use. I have given 3 stars, as I can’t guarantee that it’s not just my dog being a fussy madam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Lab loves this food. She can be a bit fussy so we were surprised when she ate it straight away. The ingredients are great - they support exactly what she needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My silver lab is living his new food, he likes the large biscuits, his coat and stool seem a lot healthier and he seems to eat slower with this kibble. He is quite lean so hopefully it will keep his weight stable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Golden Retriever and Red Fox Lab have loved trialling this Royal Canin breed specific dry dog food. The kibble is large, hoop shaped which is easily picked up and chewed. Seemed to go down well with the dogs, they wolfed it right down and with no problems digestion wise. The bag is nicely presented, eye catching with clear and concise instructions which are easy to follow. The scent of the kibble is a little bit potent and off putting to us humans, however the dogs have not been deterred by this at all. As it is a breed specific food it is packed with the vital nutrients for my retriever and my lab so I know that they are getting good nutritional coverage within their main meals. Specifically noting that royal canin have adapted this food to cover my dogs protein, joint and bone needs as they grow older in age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arlo loves this product! He was sat wagging his tail when I was filling his food bowl and then scoffed it down in no time! He doesn’t usually fuss over kibble but he couldn’t wait to try this!! It smells a lot better than other kibble too! He doesn’t look pleased in the photo but he was wagging his tail and licking his lips lol! X
