[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to get out of the packaging didn’t smell like some cat foods do. cat was happy with it and he ate it without complaint. Nutrition info and ingredients list are also good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Gizmo absolutely loved this cat food so much I struggle to get him to eat any other food, he is normally feed on biscuits so this was a real treat for him. We have had to start feeding him Sheba full time as he will no longer eat his biscuits.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Sheba Fine Flakes Adult Wet Cat Food with Salmon in Jelly (85g) for my cat, Smokey, and overall, I’m pretty pleased with it. First off, the packaging is really convenient. The pouch is easy to open and doesn’t require scissors, which is a big plus when you have a hungry cat meowing at your feet! It’s a neat portion size too — just enough for one meal without needing to store leftovers. The ingredients seem of good quality. Salmon is listed high up, which I appreciate because I want Smokey to have real fish, not just fillers. There are no artificial preservatives or colours, which gives me peace of mind. That said, I wish it had a little more transparency around the exact percentages of fish and meat content. When it comes to the texture, the fine flakes are a big hit. Smokey prefers softer, smaller pieces, and these were perfect for him. They’re delicate enough for him to eat easily, and the jelly adds just the right amount of moisture to keep them juicy without being overly runny. The scent is also pretty decent — it smells like real fish, not that overpowering artificial odour you sometimes get with wet food. It’s fresh enough that even I didn’t mind dishing it out. As for the price, it’s slightly on the higher side compared to some supermarket brands, but honestly, the quality feels like it justifies it. I’d rather pay a bit more for something Smokey genuinely enjoys, and that seems better for him. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I wish the pouches were recyclable. With how many I go through in a week, it would be great to have a more eco-friendly option. Overall, Smokey loved it, and I’ll definitely be keeping Sheba Fine Flakes in his regular meal rotation!
